One of my favourite foody Youtubers, Emmy put me onto this oddity. The McDonalds China’s limited Spam and Oreo burger, yes you read that correctly.
I totally missed this a month ago when it made the headlines, but luckily Emmy put me onto it, and also broke down exactly what was in it and how to make it.
It’s fairly simple, burger bun, fried Spam, crushed Oreos and mayo.
It does sound bananas, but I can see how it could work. The fattiness of the Spam along with the salt, the sweet and creaminess of the Oreos, the richness of the mayo and a little bite from the sesame seeds.
I’m for sure going to give this a try, but for now check out this fantastic youtube channel, and burger, maybe.
Ingredients:
- Burger Bun
- Spam
- Oreos
- Mayonnaise
- Courage
Fry Spam, crush Oreos, put into bun with mayo. That is literally it (there’s a reason McDonald’s burgers are fast).
