This is to me one of the best sauces across any burger, I think that when I order a Big Mac it’s really more about the sauce than the burger itself.
So… How do you make the famous relish?
(links to ingredients on Amazon for convenience / reference)
- Take 1/2 cup of mayo
- 2 tablespoons of French dressing
- 4 teaspoons of sweet pickle relish
- 1 tablespoon finely minced white onion
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon of white sugar
- 1/8th teaspoon of salt
- 1/8th teaspoon white pepper
Simply mix together, microwave for 30 seconds to activate some kind of radioactive magic and then refrigerate in a sealed container for 24 hours, this will help everything blend nicely.
Of course the real thing is a lot more disgusting, with everything from xanthen gum to high fructose corn syrup, but you probably don’t want that right?
